Flower Burst Stained Glass
This quilt design won 2nd place in the "Quilt Treasure 2005 Challenge". (32" x 32") By changing the fabric one gets a different effect. This class covers layout, fusing fabric in place and the layout of the bias tape. We will begin sewing the bias tape in place. There are tricks that make learning stained glass easier, and they will be discussed.

Class Length: 3 or 6 Hours

- Sewing Machine
- Ruler
- Cutting Border
- Rotary Cutter, etc.
- Iron
- Removable Tape (Scotch by 3M)
- Basting Spray or Brass Pins — Steam-a-Seam (Lite)
- Water Solvent Blue Pen
- Materials: Fusible Web - Steam-a-Seam 2 (Lite)
Fabric Requirements:
- 11 Fat Quarters for Flower:

- BG - Background - 3/4 Yard
- 3/8 Yard of Black for Binding
- 15 Yards of Black Bias Tape by Clover
- Backing - 35" x 35" Low loft Batting - Crib Size
- Thread: Black Invisible for Quilting or Matching
