Single Multiple Triangle Squares
If you want a 2” finished square Triangle Block, cut one square each of two different fabrics at 2 7/8”. When completed, there will be two triangle blocks from these two squares. We will use this as an example.
Place both 2 7/8” squares right sides together as shown in Figure 1.
Draw a line diagonally as shown in Figure 2.
Sew 1/4” on each side of the drawn line as shown in Figure 3.
Cut on drawn line as shown in Figure 4.
Two triangle blocks are to be trimmed to unfinished size of 2 1/2” as shown in Figure 5.
Multiple Triangle Squares
Place two different fabrics right sides together. Draw a grid on the top fabric at 2 7/8" square intervals as shown in Figure 1.
Draw diagonal lines as shown in Figure 2.

Sew 1/4” on each side of the drawn line as shown in Figure 3.
Cut on grid lines drawn as shown in Figure 4 and on diagonal lines drawn as shown in Figure 5.
All triangle blocks are to be trimmed to unfinished size of 2 1/2”. There will be 18 triangle blocks from this method as shown in Figure 6.
